Why I made HomeUnemployed.com
As a result of Covid-19, the federal government passed a $2.2 trillion package on March 27th called the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act.
With much of the economy down, many friends and people in the community were struggling financially. Even those that heard about the available help, didn’t realize they were eligible and found the whole process confusing.
Seeing the need for clear information, I published a small website, HomeUnemployed.com, with all you need to know about Covid-19 Government Assistance during this trying time.
What started out as something small, helping friends and family, quickly morphed into something bigger. The site grew as I received hundreds of emails and messages with requests for assistance for their specific scenarios. I researched each one and published lots of it online too, making the process clear and easy to understand.
These past few months have been an amazing experience, and I am grateful for the privilege of helping countless people and businesses.
